Job Description:
The Research Technician working for Medicine/Nephrology will perform histology and immunochemistry, mouse tissue harvesting and preparation, and genotyping of mice (CPR-based). The Technician will also establish and maintain mouse colonies, analyze gene expression in mouse tissue (northern blotting), analyze protein expression in mouse tissue (southern blotting), maintain data and records, and perform other related duties as assigned.
B.A. or B.S. in related science.
0-2 years experience or equivalent skills and experience are required.
The ideal candidate will have superior written and verbal communication skills as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
