DESKTOP TRAVELING DEPLOYMENT TEAM
***MINIMUM TOP SECRET CLEARANCE REQUIRED***
IMTAS, a leading edge Government integrator is about to embark upon an exciting project for our prestigious Government customer. We anticipate a project start date of November 1, 2009 for most of these positions and we are beginning our recruitment campaign now to get ramped up for this effort.
We will be looking for candidates with active top secret clearances who love to travel, are customer focused, and who love to work with computer hardware and peripheral devices. These positions range from Management/Supervisory level to basic desktop support.
Management teams generally are located in one location, but may have to travel on occasion to provide troubleshooting analysis and backup support. Primary supervisory/management responsibilities may include: Site surveys, management of deployment tasks, resource allocation, off-site pilot tests and deployments, status reports etc. Must have experience in a desktop or helpdesk environment at a supervisory level. Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office, MS WORD, and EXCEL. Familiarity with Desktop workstations, switch boxes- DVI/VGA, memory upgrades, and Dell 620 and above workstations. We are seeking various levels of expertise in these areas, from Project Management to mid level junior desktop support personnel.
The Deployment Team travels to various locations throughout the United States and will install, configure, and troubleshoot dell desktop workstations. Typical responsibilities for these positions may include: removing outdated equipment and replacing with new equipment, remove and change out hard rives, connect new equipment and reconnect peripherals, desktop configuration, and a multitude of other IT related responsibilities as required.
