The Onion, "America`s Finest News Source," is seeking applicants for an internship position in our Graphics department. The internship is in New York City from January through May 2010. Photoshop and Illustrator experience is a requirement for this position, and photography experience is a plus. Duties will include but are not limited to photo searching, image prep and photo shoot assistance. Applicants must be based in or around New York City.
Please include with your application a portfolio that specifically showcases your Photoshop abilities. Remember, this is a program focused on graphics, not layout. Interns must be able to work 3+ days a week in the office, but schedule can be flexible. Qualified candidates can receive school credit.
Take note: This internship is intended to be a great learning opportunity for students or recent grads looking for some professional experience to kick-start their career.
