About the Company
Our client is a cutting edge company developing wireless synchronization technology. Located in Midtown, NYC, they develop end user applications.
Job Description
They have an immediate opening for a Java Developer. The Developer will be an expert at mobile based applications, providing leadership, with strong problem solving skills. The developer will have experience with extracting data from databases.
This is a long term position with significant growth opportunity for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
• Lead the development of Java based mobile applications
• Responsible for idea generation, planning, technical direction, quality assurance and development completion of their Mobile applications.
• Partner with designers and product managers to implement new features and ideas
• Working Environment: Java/J2EE, Objective-C, Linux
Qualifications
• A minimum of 2 – 5 years Java engineering experience
• Strong development experience using Java in web and mobile applications
• Objective-C a plus
• Familiar with Linux environment
• Strong analytical and creative problem solving skills.
• Passionate about developing new technology
• Excellent communication skills, creativity, and innovative thinking
Salary and Benefits
50K – 65K
