Our client is a UK-based civil engineering and construction specialist, with proven expertise working in complex and difficult locations. Their extensive experience includes rail and other transport projects, civils and construction within large mechanical and electrical related projects. They are seeking a Quantity Surveyor to work on London Underground stations and other Rail related projects in the South East of England.
The majority of their work is general building, demolition and civils orientated, therefore, knowledge of this environment and work type is beneficial.
The position may suit a Surveyor, with a sub-contractor bias who may have worked within this environment pulling together priced works and day work information to produce valuations within the company`s current format. A knowledge of cost re-conciliations and their importance is an advantage.
Skills
Good organisation skills are a must, with a confidence in their ability to liaise with client Surveyors and manage vast accounts with strict valuation dates etc., making sure all aspects of the paper trail are fulfilled.

The majority of the work will be based from our clients` offices in North Kent, on a day shift basis, although occasionally engineering shifts will have to be accomodated.
A clean driving licence is required.
