With a worldwide staff of practical, enthusiastic, innovative people with enormous experience in solids handling.
My client is a `complete solutions` provider for the world of solids handling. The scope of supply includes concept design, feasibility, interface and risk studies, full scale testing, project management, detailed design and engineering, systems integration, manufacture, installation, commission, validation and service support. A Global company with its own offices in several locations and top quality representation throughout the developed and developing world. Each of the offices offers comprehensive full-scale test facilities.
Due to continued expansion and growth, the company has a new position for a Controls Engineer. He*she will report to the Controls Manager, as part of a team, your role will be to:-
• Assist sales in the design and sales of integrated process systems;
• Concept design, network advice and project system costing across the full range of small
product projects to complete automation processes;
• Presentation*selling solutions to clients in Food, Pharmaceutical, Chemical & other industries;
• Production of PLC software (Allen Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi as minimum);
• Production of control system specification and project documentation, incorporating functional design specifications;
• Organisation & execution of component & system tests – in our works and on site;
• Production of control drawings, both electric and pneumatic to company standards;
• Siemens S7 – Programming
Candidates will possess excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills combined with initiative, positive attitude and tenacity. Most of your time will be spent with customers throughout the UK, therefore the ability and willingness to travel is both necessary and expected. You must be capable of using your knowledge, skills and abilities to make the company the preferred choice. You will also require a strong commercial awareness, natural sales ability, self-motivation and the determination to succeed.
