We are a global organisation, represented in over 100 countries, with the UK centre based in our "award winning" office and manufacturing units in Shelf, which provide excellent facilities and are within easy reach of all major towns and cities in West Yorkshire.The operations area has a substantial impact on the profitability of the European business and there is a need for proactive and professional finance analysis and support for the operations team based in the UK. This support role will focus on: - being part of the operations team and supporting them in provision of information - analysis and forecasting on the manufactering process - analysis and forecasting of operations fixed costs - optimizing administrative organisation in the operations area - optimizing efficiency in the operations area by providing specific information (both in purchasing, warehousing and production) and stimulate*realize implementation of improvement actionsReporting to the Finance Director UK Sales*Operations, the successful candidate will be a qualified, or part qualified, accountant with preferably a track record of providing support and guidance to line managers in a manufacturing environment. Energy and enthusiasm, together with instinctive customer orientation are key requirements in this role and in this organisation, which is unique and challenging.
