Technical Architect - London - £400*day - 3 months rolling
Technical Architect is required for my London client. Candidates must have several years of experience exemplifying the ability to act as Technical Architect for IT security feasibility project. Excellent understanding of the overall structure, logical components and the logical interrelationships of IT systems is required. Any of the following certifications are desirable: CISSP, CISM, CISA or SSCP
Work involved will include:
? Segregating my client`s systems through the segmentation of the network
? Strengthening the capability to trust a user by enhancing the authentication mechanism
? Introducing firewall technology
? Enhancing real-time scanning of PCs for malicious software
? Implement intrusion prevention systems and services
? Extend the current web content filtering capability.
? Secure email communications
? Deploy laptop hard disk encryption
? Implement a Certificate Authority service
I`m looking for candidates who have experience in the following:
? Validating the effectiveness of software tools, including associated policies and procedures
? Undertaking appropriate gap analysis of current policies*practices v industry best practice
? Assisting in risk assessment of current working practices
? Identifying short tem, low cost design and technology options
? Testing current detection systems, including frequency, scope, associated policies and procedures, to validate effectiveness
? Evaluating leading vendors and suppliers and the potential of their products to enhance or replace existing solutions
? Reviewing and reporting on supplier solutions
? Reviewing, evaluating, reporting on and presenting solutions and recommendations
? Attending meetings as required
? Producing high level design documentation and detailed design documentation as necessary
