Our client is a leading Financial Services firm based in London. With a global reach the firm has the ability to offer successful candidates the opportunity of a long and diverse career.
You will be responsible for supervising a number of risk projects having an active involvement in assignments which are technically demanding. Reporting to managers and partners, you will be expected to be a self-starter and be encouraged to assist in managing the department and will be involved in the supervision and development of junior staff.
Main Responsibilities:
- Perform a risk based review under guidance from manager, including planning, test design, fieldwork, drafting reports and agreeing recommendations with management
- Process assessment - understand, document and assess business processes and systems (some of a complex nature) identifying risks and controls
- Supervise staff during a review
- Advice clients on corporate governance
- Facilitate risk management workshops
- Develop practical and cost effective recommendation
- Undertake ad hoc projects
- Accurately estimate and work within time and resource budgets on reviews and projects
Person Specification:
- Internal auditing

- Qualified accountant or relevant experience

Qualifications:
- ACA * ACCA qualified or equivalent. Have solid experienced in internal auditing of mixed client base.
